March 17th - SLOWLY...we are bringing this area back to life!!

This week we were looking for a girl named J., and her family because they disappeared and every time we pass or walk by.  One of her brothers tells us that we can't come back and threatens us.  I didn't know what to do and I was super depressed but we ended up going to their house with some of our homies to bring her and her family to church.  They came and it was awesome, we also put a baptism date with another lady.  Slowly we are bringing this area back to life...it's awesome!

Q:  Did you see that video clip of Kyle's "Utah Lax Play of the Game?"
A: Holy fetch, I got chills when I saw that video of Kyle making that pass to Cameron, I showed all of my comps and they thought it was soooo cool Hahaha!!

Q:  Did you get the package I sent?
A:  Ya, I got your package and everyone loved the candies.  We all at the candy and everyone was saying that they loved you for sending stuff.  They even sent pics to their families.  It was so funny.  I will send you some pics too of what we did last night.

Q:  What about your new tie?
A:  Ya, I am wearing it right now.

Q:  Do they even acknowledge St. Patrick's Day in Mexico?
A:  No, they don't know what it is.

Q:  Syd was crying yesterday because she said she really misses you. Did you get her last letter?
A:  I always read my comps the letters Syd writes because they are so fetchin funny!

I saw the picture of Brock, I bet he is ballin and a stud.  It's so funny that he has an accent, I bet I will to.  Kyle looks good in the pic cept it looks like in every photo he is wearing my clothes.

I got to go Mom, make sure you keep praying for me and my investigators cuz I hope we can baptize them.  It will be super hard this week, for real.  I love you all tons and make sure you say 'hola' to everyone in Utah for me.  Love you tons and make sure to send me tons of pics of the Sadies dance and lax.  I love getting pics...it's da bomb!

Love Momma, you are always in my prayers...PEACE OUT!

March 24th - A COOL STORY...

Every thing is pretty much the same here except that J. and her family are doing so good.  They went to church yesterday and not the ward is helping us out with them.  We are gonna have a family night with them and another family tonight.
Also, a cool story last night that happened...is the the Pres called me at like 9:00 and I was like what the heck?  Then after he told me that he had someone who wanted to talk to me.  Honestly, I thought someone died in the family and you guys were trying to call me.  But it ended up being some teenager kid that I taught a ton when I was in Estrella.  He was at a reunion and mission president spoke and after the meeting the kid went and started to talk to the president. The kid told him that he just barely got baptized and he said that it all started because of Elder Gee.  I guess the president was so happy that he told the kid to call me on his phone.  Hahaha!! It was sick!!  The kid told me that he wears the tie that I gave him every week to church.  This kid is a baller and he use to be a total pot head and drink.  Now he is the only priest in the ward and wanted to serve a mission.  I was so happy...it's so sick!!
That's cool that Kyle is doubling to Prom with Hyatt...tell him he's a boss for doing that.  Charity is the pure love of Christ and without it you are NOTHING!  That is honestly so cool and motivates to be better.  Tell him that for me.
That is so cool you saw President Uchdorf (we saw him at Harmon's for a fundraiser for Syd's Special Olympic team.)  So you didn't get a pic with him?  Holy fetch!  I would give my left nut or 1,000 pesos to shake President Uchdorf's hand...Hahaha!
I got to go Momma, tell the fam I love them!
HASTA LA VISTA BABY!

March 2nd - with a little lime & hot sauce it tastes like WINGERS!

This week was actually a lot better,  me and my comp started to contact more and more out here and we are starting to find more peeps!  One day when we were contacting old investigators in the area book we found the dad of one of our investigators.   I was like,  can we teach you right now and he said, ya, so we walked to his house with him and ended up teaching him and his family.  We put 2 baptism dates with his daughter J. and her mom and they came to church... it was sick!  We had 3 investigators in church yesterday which is awesome.  Lots better than before. But that's whats good in the hood... just working to find more people.
Are Beyer's stoked for Brock to get home??  It's crazy to think Brock is coming home from his mission.  I know I will show him up with Spanish cuz he speaks French Spanish...hahaha!!
Everything is good with the fam?
Love you tons...peace aka ADIOS!!

Q:  Tell me how all four of you elders are doing in your small apartment?
A:  We are doing good ... no fights yet and I get along with all of them.   They are all ballers!

That's just chicken feet we ate for the other day...
it's gross but with a little lime and hot sauce
it tastes like wings at Wingers!
The Family.
My 2 sons and grandson...hahaha!!

February 24th - 4 ELDERS IN AN APARTMENT!

Glad to hear all is good in K-Town. So here is the deal the new companions.  They are sick... so far anyways. Hahaha!!  My new comp is from Monterrey Mexico and is Elder C.  Elder M.'s new comp is Elder R. from Honduras. We are all living together and its going good,  it's a lot harder because we have had to split everything in the area like investigators etc.  But whatever,  we had like 5 investigators in church altogether and it was awesome!  We are just working hard to find new investigators.  Our goal is to put dates with them and hope we will have at least three by the end of the week. Elder M. is ballin. I really think this change is gonna be good and I m hoping we will baptize someone. That's about it...we are just trying to work really hard and I am just trying to learn more Spanish.
I have taken money out of the account because we had to take some taxis and stuff for the new guys to get their bags.   Don't worry I should be good but also I took money out because a family in the ward makes suits and they have their own machines and stuff in their house.   My suit is super nasty now and the color is fading because of the sun.  But they are making me a custom suit for like 80 bucks aka like 95 pesos but its gonna be sick!  Blue and custom fit ...BALLIN!!   Elder M. is getting the same one.
I got to go mom.   I love you all tons and make sure you keep me in your prayers!

All the missionaries from Mexico City South.
This was taken when Elder Oaks came and spoke to us.

February 16th - YEAH!! I AM STAYIN WITH ELDER M.

The good news is that Elder M. and I  are staying here for transfers and we are both gonna train new guys... I think they are both Mexicans... Hahaha! It's crazy!!  This all happens Tuesday aka tomorrow. All 4 of us are going to stay in the same house still.  It's gonna be crazy cuz our house is sooooo small.  I don't know how we are gonna do it,  but I really do love Elder M. and he is probably  a close tie with Elder W... like for real I love them so much.
Mom, thanks a ton for the Valentine package.
We found a new lady this week in the street and she ended up coming to church with us.   It was awesome except she won't except a visit from us... I don't know why.  I think she is embarrassed of her house or something.  But honestly I am just super nervous because we hardly have anyone who wants to do anything and now we have 4 missionaries in the same ward.   I don't know what I am gonna do. Just keep us in your prayers cuz we need a miracle to start getting more people who want to progress. I feel bad just trying to find people and no one want to commit. That's honestly what has happened. We have had super bad luck with references cuz all of them are out of the area or like a street out of the area so we cant teach them.  We have worked so hard lately and I hope eventually it pays off.  If this is a mountain ... it's the biggest and steepest I have had in the mission.  But its ok we just have to keep pushing forward.  That's really about it.  We only found one new investigator this week and we worked super hard.  But I am not worried I trust in the Lord .
Love you all so much and thanks for all the support that you always give me.   Thanks Dad for the comments,  they always help and motivate me to be better.  I will work super hard like always and we will see what happens this week.  Love you all tons and know that your always in my prayers.

Adios aka hasta luego!

FEBRUARY 9th - ELDER OAKS IS MY NEW BFF

So this week was pretty lame except I got to hear Elder Dallin H. Oaks.  He came down to dedicate the new Mexico City MTC.   It was awesome and he hecka shook my hand and called me by name. It was sooo cool,  I havent felt that cool since being on the front page of the Deseret News for winning the state championship in soccer Hahaha!!  But after the conference I took Elder Oaks out for tacos and now he said I am gonna speak in General Conference when I get back... jk! I felt so cool.   I also saw Elder W.  and Elder M., I will send you some pics.
I didn't find that many new investigators, but we are still working hard to find some more, that really is all that happened.  We have changes this Sunday,  I honestly have no idea whats gonna happen. Me and Elder M. are working super hard right just trying to find new people but not much is happening.  We are having troubles getting our investigators to go to church, but its all good you can never get better if the Lord doesn't give you trials.
I love all of my Hump Day package.  We didnt do really anything  exciting ...just worked!   It wasnt that great but i loved the package that you sent it was awesome.  If you want you can send me some more skinny gangster ties and stuff.
Love you and say hi to the fam for me!

January 27th - STEEP MOUNTAINS and STRONG TREES!

I'm glad to hear Mexico was awesome...hahaha!!   I  loved the pics you sent.
Here is what happened this week ... honesty nothing... hahaha!!  But we are having trouble with investigators.   Most of them don't want to do anything and just like us to come by... it kinda sucks not gonna lie!
We had a zone conference and I learned a ton, like for real the Pres is a great speaker and he is a baller (even though I can't drink coke).  This whole week Elder M. and I we out tracting and have been trying to talk with everybody.   I ended up finding a family that accepted a visit and we are gonna go teach them this Wednesday or Thursday,  so that will be cool.   Also,  we were walking one day and some lady started screaming our names and ran after us...Hahaha!!  She told us that she has listened to the missionaries before and her husband died recently so she is sad and wants to start hearing the lessons again.  That should be cool, I hope we can put a baptism date with them this week.   They are a family of straight girls like 4 of them.
But that's about it.  Only had 1 investigator at church again I don't know why they don't want to go to church with us it sucks.... but its all right.   Every mountain the Lord gives us we just got to climb and after we are always stronger.   I heard something I really like this week, the strongest trees are the ones who have been through lots of storms and haven't broken down, its the same with us if we can endure we will always be stronger.

Adios talk to you later!
