May 30th - LA EXPIACION!

Que Ondas,

Whats up everybody!! Alright so this week we had a lot of cool things happen this week!! A lot of cool Miracles. A lot people acting on their faith and seeing a lot of cool results. Lots of cool experiences....so I'm just gonna get down to it!! Bear with me I have a ton to write.

Alright well last Tuesday we had a Multizona and that was pretty cool...pretty fun seeing a lot of familiar faces. We took a group pic but not on my camera (ran out of battery, classic)!! But the Multizona was cool and powerful like always.  Presdent Hintze gave a powerful speech about his experience in the mission...he said, "For all of you missionaries in the mission who always think about home. When are you gonna stop and let go and just live the missionary life?"  And at that moment we all stopped and were like, "Wow the spirit was so strong!!"  He said, "You guys have one responsibility and that is to bless the lives of other people...thats it.  How blessed are you?"  It was so cool...I learned a lot from that speech!! Also, in the pic is me and Elder Tamayo who was my ZL for a change...he seems to be doing way good. He was my ZL when i was in Cuscatlan.

Thursday, I went on interchanges with my ZL Elder D.!! That was super fun...he gave interviews to our investigadors and they all passed. We reactivated a couple of inactives who came to church yesterday, so that was cool to see.  We taught E's little sister who is 16 years old.  She told us that she has seen the greatest change in her older brother and wants the same happiness he always shows her. It was pretty amazing.  She came to church for the first time yesterday and loved it and said she's coming back for sure next week!! so sick!!

Saturday, we had 2 baptisms. They were so cool them both. Our 2nd Counselor and a member in the ward baptized them. But me and my comp were witnesses to the baptism so that was really cool to see. They have such an amazing testimony and an amazing story to how they got converted. J. the older sister in the pic on the right...told us that she had a dream of her mother that had passed away in March...."she came to me in all white clothes saying you need to get baptized and serve a mission has well...WOW!!  I almost cried and so did my comp.  That was a very powerful testament of her faith.

Later on that day we had missionary prep class and that was fun. E really enjoyed it...he practiced and taught us all of lesson 1.  He killed it...he would have converted me!  He teaches with us every Sunday...he brings the members to tears...because they all knew him before...but they see the difference in him now.

So Sunday to finish the week,  I had the opportunity to confirm I...it was my first time doing it so I was super nervous...but i did it...and the people said it was really good and so I felt a lot better afterwards. I felt the Spirit so strong. It was definitely a memory I will never forget.  I was so grateful for the opportunity.

To finish this up. I so grateful to be a missionary of this ever true gospel. Right now in the mission I'm starting to get a little bit more success and I'm so humbled everyday to put on that badge and represent him.  I told my comp this one day during comp study...that when I put on this badge I feel like Superman...I feel like I can do anything. I feel the power of the Holy Ghost every time I teach. But i know this gospel is eternal.  It's blessed me in so many ways and I'm learning so much. The people are the best and will forever be my favorite.  I love you guys and I miss you more than you know...but I know I'm doing miracles here.  Just do me a favor and always smile!!  Be happy always...because he is ever so near. Always remember to pray and give thanks always.

BE LEADER!! BUT TO BE A GOOD LEADER...YOU MUST BE A GOOD FOLLOWER.!!

May 23rd - BENDICIONES

Yo fam,

Whats up!! I hope this week turned out pretty good. This week here in Puerto was pretty cool filled with cool experiences. The work here is seriously picking up and going faster and faster. I have a lot to talk about so I'm just gonna get right to it man.

So this week me and my comp received a reference from a member in the branch saying, "Elders you guys need to visit and baptize my sisters, they already have 3 attendance to church."   So we did visit with them...and they shared with us some sorrow of their mother passing in March. We placed a date with them this upcoming Saturday and they both accepted. So, we are looking forward to two baptisms this week. FELICIDADES.  Our 2nd counselor came teaching with us everyday this week which was a huge blessing. He is super awesome. He told me that he trained a kid named Elder Flitton from Kaysville Utah, I told him I think he's in my stake, but I'm not sure.  But I'm super grateful he loves us enough to teach with us...he's a huge reason the branch is progressing.  Every Saturday we have a missionary prep class...from 3 to 5.  Its super good for the young ones in the branch to go out and have a desire to serve.  It will make the branch grow drastically. there was a ton of future missionaries there and after we played basketball...SUPER FUN.

Also, this week I placed a new goal for my district. The goal was to find 2 news everyday and contact 12 people in the street. I was a really good goal for our district.  Our numbers and news jumped up a ton.  The zone leaders and president were pretty proud of me...I felt so SICK!

Also heres some big news...K. finally came to church.  She brought her little sister and brother, they have a date for baptism for the 4 of June.  So much potential here. She loved church and she told us she's willing to keep going every Sunday. PRETTY COOL. Her little sister R has a desire to be baptized as well.  Yesterday we had 7 investigadores in church. THE MOST IN MY MISSION!

E. blessed the sacrament yesterday. He was so nervous because he didn't think he could do it...but he did, perfectly!  After words he told us he felt super good. He feels that right now he's part of the branch.  His potential to learn and teach is skyrocketing. Yesterday he went teaching with us and he made 4 different people we were teaching cry.  Crying..because they felt the spirit.  When he bore his testimony...they sat up and the Lord poured out to them.  It was a really beautiful thing to see. He's gonna be a great Elder some day.  He's a huge example to all the young kids in the ward.  Blessed.!!

I love you guys so much and hope that you guys enjoy summer that is coming up...if you find a pool jump in for me...because i cant do it myself. ONE LOVE!! Also thanks momma for the package I loved it.

May 16th - DIOS BENDIGA

Hows everyone doing??  Alright so this week was super cool with a lot of cool stories. I decided to start writing it down in my agenda when something cool happens...that way I won't forget and be scrambling to write  something every p-day. But this week was super good. Well the thing is that me and my comp don't have changes this change.  We are staying in Puerto for another change...which is kinda what we both wanted. When we found out that we don't have changes we both screamed in the house of laughter...because we are guaranteed another transfer to work here. There is still a lot of work to do here. A lot of people that need to get in that water before I peace out for good.... jajaja!!

We got a new zone leader too...his name is Elder D and he was in my zone when I was in Cuscatlan. He was a DL with me so we already have a good connection and already planned a lot of interchanges that we are gonna do.

This change is gonna be pretty balling.  Heres a funny story for ya...(this actually happened 2 weeks ago but i forgot to write it in my letter.)  Elder McFarland who is in my district....bought a pizza with all pennies!!  The pizza cost about 15 dollars and if you think about it...thats about 1500 pennies! The pizza guy accepted it and they took a  selfie with him.  The pizza guy said...its already happened to him before. (only in El Salvador)

Also, I went on interchanges with Elder Sweat in my area...that was super fun. We did some serious contacting on the beaches...we actually found a white girl who is a member from Utah...who lives here.  I really don't know why??  We invited her to church but she told us she's too "hipster for that"...jajaja, my gosh!  Me and Sweat also visited K and R (sisters) one of our investigators...they both accepted our invitation to baptism for the 28 of May.  We hope the best there.

Then the next day we and Chinchilla went to a church activity for Mother's Day,  a lot of members came and had a good time...a lot of nonmembers came as well.  Me and Chinchilla played basketball against the 2nd counselor and the secretary of the ward...it was way fun to play again. The 2nd counselor and the Secretary are return missionaries that are 24 years old.  They are super fun who like to come and teach with us. They are basically the reason the branch stays in place.

Well yesterday E. received the Aaronic Priesthood.  He was pretty stoked about that...you can see the progress in him. He's a future missionary!! He came to teach with us and bares a powerful testimony!! We visited like 5 less active members with him and he told us he loves teaching. He told me, "Elder Gee, I wish I could leave on a mission right now...but I have to wait a year to go...and you and Chinchilla wont be here when I receive my call."  I told him you can write me and tell me all about it...he told me he's going on his mission to Utah...and Mom is gonna feed him so much food! He loves me and my comp. H e doesn't like the idea of changes.  He knows we won't be here forever and he hates talking about changes.  Its gonna be really hard to say goodbye to him...he's my hero!! He is one of the reasons the work is fun...he makes me and my comp strong. He truly is a blessing in my life.  I am so grateful I met him when I did.  I know me and him were homies in Heaven before this life.

I am so grateful to be a missionary and to be able to suit up for my Savior and be an example to others.  IT'S HONESTLY THE BEST FEELING EVER!!  Nothing quite like it. se que estes cosas son verdereras. se que podemos vivir en la presencia de dios eternamente...con nuestra familias. les amo ustedes...sea feliz!!!  I love you guys so much...when i saw you guys in my Skype I was so happy and haven't laughed that hard in so long.  I miss you guys so much some days are so much harder then others.  I know Im here for a reason and I'm on the Lord's time.  I know that I couldn't understand such happiness if I didn't leave. I  know Im growing so much spiritually(definitelynot physically) I gotta do more pushups!!

Well I love you guys with all my heart and have a great week and always choose to be happy!!

May 9th - GOZO PURO

This week was super good!! My birthday was way fun. Our cook made us hamburgers and a cake as well. (I have pictures at the bottom)  I had a couple of members send me txts saying HAPPY BIRTHDAY ELDER!! SO that was super cool to see. Also we had a breakfast, President and sister Hintze is so that was so cool...we had pancakes and eggs...SO GOOD!! (we don't eat pancakes here...so all the gringos were excited).

Well, this week of teaching wasn't much, but it was super cool.  A lot of cool spiritual experiences. We baptized Hermano E. and confirmed him. Its awesome to see him progress and grow...he's a freakin stud!!  Every time we teach him he has a ton of questions about the gospel and he responds and says...thats so cool!!  He wants to serve a mission in a year...so we are preparing him!! Right now we are teaching is his little brother who is 11 and is gonna get baptized this Saturday, we hope!!
Also, we are teaching E's girlfriend as well...she loves us and will be baptized soon!! So there is future potential there.

The cool thing is that me and Elder C. lead the zone in baptismal dates...we have 11!!  We are a great team...I hope president doesn't take us out...that would really suck!! I REALLY LOVE HIM...we work so well.  He is so funny too...we always sing rock and roll in the streets like Def Leopard and Guns and Roses...its hilarious!!  We talked about it and he doesn't want to have transfers...he tells me I'm his favorite comp...because the others were kinda weird and not fun to be around.  But it's been such a fun and quick change!! Transfers are ever so near...and it will be interesting to see were I go and who will be my comp!!

Well I love you guys and hope the best in all you guys do...always put God in your lives.  He´s always number 1. Everything falls through him...and always be happy. Always exercise your faith....and the real blessings follow. NEVER GET DISCOURAGED!! President Hintze always told me, "When it gets hard and it will, always move your feet." He also joked with me saying, "Elder Gee,  if you love your wife in 20 years its because you baptized a lot of people!"  jajaja, its a joke but its true!!

MAY 2nd - My BirThDAy...20 YEARS YOUNG!

Wooooh!! Freakin 20 years old....I'm not gonna lie its weird to have your birthday in the mission. I don't feel any different.  Some times I still think I'm a super young kid in High School...and not a missionary that almost has a year...wow the time really flies!! It feels good though.

Today is a super good day. But this week was super good but crazy...we had some really good things...and some really bad things. One of those bad things was Elder Eggers companion Elder P. went back to home...because of his kidneys.  He went home, but should be back in a bout 6 to 8 weeks.  So Elder Eggers is with the zone leaders for now until they bring in a mini missionary!!  We talked about it and he said its super weird to say goodbye to your comp who is going home...but HE WILL RETURN!!

Also heres a funny story...so I went on splits with my zone leader Elder D. in my area...and that was super fun!! The funny part is it started to rain super hard...Elder Davis looks at me and says, "JUST KEEP ON WALKING GEE...WE ARE NOT GONNA STOP!" hahaha so that's what we did!!  We walked in the rain and we were soaked...so we bought an ice cream...and we continued to walk in the stormy rain eating ICE CREAM!!  All the people gave us the dirtiest looks...it was funny!!

We had a baptism this Saturday...E. got baptized...it was so cool!! My comp did and it was so sick!! After the baptism he told us...he feels amazing and is ready for this new step in his life...SOOO COOL!!  We also confirmed him yesterday...and next week he will receive the priesthood!!  He's got so much potential...he told us he wants to serve a mission soon...one year from yesterday!!  But the more and more I see why I'm a missionary...I AM SO GRATEFUL FOR THIS GOSPEL!!  It sometimes makes me think that before...i worried about the dumbest things in life...nothing is more important than this gospel.  Im so grateful for all the experiences I've had...I learned so much, so fast! I think I know now what they mean when they say its the best 2 years...to see the changes in peoples lives...honestly nothing better.  No better feeling in the whole world!!

Well I love you guys with all my heart and have a great week and always choose to be happy!!
